I have to say that I am not easily impressed,  and being what most have called a "hardcore" vegan, I was skeptical when I first found the Kona Kava Farm Vegan Chocolate Chips for sale.  They made such incredible claims; they said that their VEGAN chips (besides actually being HEALTHY for me), were going to taste BETTER than commercial chocolate ships like Hershey's or Cadbury's.  If they weren't as good or better, I was free to return the remaining portion for a FULL refund.  How could I resist a challenge?

So, I took a chance and plopped down the $9.99 for the 8 ounce bag of chips.  Surprisingly, my order shipped the SAME DAY they received it, and not only did they ship it fast, even though I was 2 states away, the package arrived the very next day.  Apprehensively, I opened the beautiful foil packaging (as I thought to myself what a GREAT present these would make to all of my non-vegetarian friends....they always accuse me of my food being "bland"!) and took out my first chocolate chip, prepared to be disappointed as I have so many times in the past.  The chips were so delicious that I picked up the phone, and asked if there could have been some mistake, and asked if KONA KAVA FARM also manufactured NON-vegan chips as well.  They insisted that they did not, and also added that I was not the first to ask that question.

Before I knew it, the ENTIRE bag of chips was gone.  Me, Ms. Healthy Pants, had managed to eat the entire bag of these delicious vegan chocolate chips without a single guilty thought!  Suddenly, a flood of ideas rushed to my head; I was imagining delicious chocolate chip vegan cookies, cocoa drinks with soy milk, and dreamed of a vegetarian chocolate cake, with REAL, and incredibly DELICIOUS chocolate chips in them!  So, off I went to order more and to write this thank you for being a company that actually delivers on its promises.  In Chocolate Heaven, Vegan from Cali
